The Icon
First introduced in 1994, the Lange 1 with its asymmetrical dial and patented large date is one of the few watches that was immediately recognized as a classic by collectors and experts. In the meantime, the almost unchanged watch has long since achieved icon status.
Excellence from Glashütte
Ferdinand Adolph Lange, born in 1815, was a gifted watchmaker and, with the help of extensive structural support from the state, established the Saxon watchmaking tradition in Glashütte. Since then, many watch manufacturers have been established in this valley, but none can match the perfection and excellence of Lange's craftsmanship. After the destruction of the factory and the expropriation after the Second World War, descendant Walter Lange rebuilt the brand after the fall of the wall and fascinated, Lange typically with an astonishing quality of movement finishing.
